This module is run in conjunction with a very enthusiastic associate and friend and is a truly wonderful opportunity to get close to the varied wildlife of Cabo de Gata. This tour is suitable for anyone with photographic experience who loves wildlife or even just for clients who love wildlife. This would make an excellent gift for a keen photographer looking for something a bit different.
There is an abundance of wildlife in and around Parque Natural de Cabo de Gata; 1,100 species of fauna have been recorded within the park, the majority of which are birds. The European Union has designated a Special Protection Area for bird-life. Approximately 15 species of reptile are found in the park, including Italian wall lizards (uniquely in Spain), ocellated lizards, grass snakes and Lataste's viper.
Tell us what sort of wildlife you're insterested in and we will design an excursion especially for you! As with the landscape photography module, we can show you around several locations over a period of a few days or simply one or two locations in one day. The cost of this excursion varies greatly depending on distances travelled, number of people attending and number of days.
