PHOTOGRAPHY EXPERIENCES - Wildlife Watching
This experience is run in conjunction with a very enthusiastic associate and friend and is a truly wonderful opportunity to get close to the varied wildlife of Cabo de Gata. This experience is suitable for anyone with photographic knowledge who loves wildlife or even just for clients who love wildlife. This would make an excellent gift for a keen photographer looking for something a bit different.
There is an abundance of wildlife in and around Parque Natural de Cabo de Gata; 1,100 species of fauna have been recorded within the park, the majority of which are birds. The European Union has designated a Special Protection Area for bird-life. Approximately 15 species of reptile are found in the park, including Italian wall lizards (uniquely in Spain), oscillated lizards, grass snakes and Lataste's viper.
After an initial consultation (by email, phone or in person), we will design an excursion especially for you! As with the landscape photography experience, we can show you around several locations over a period of a few days or simply one or two locations in one day. Such locations may include Las Salinas de Cabo de de Gata, Rambla Morales, Sierra de Cabo de Gata, Desierto de Tabernas and Sierra de Los Filabres. Also as with the landscape photography experience, the cost of varies greatly depending on distances travelled, number of days duration and necessity for overnight accommodation and meals.
Allow a budget price of €50 - €65 per person per day for groups of four people. Prices for couples and solo clients will be given on request. All prices would be confirmed in writing after the brief consultation mentioned above. Prices do NOT include accommodation, food and airport transfers, see relevant FAQ in this respect.
