PHOTOGRAPHY EXPERIENCES - Photography and Nature Activity Week
Martyn Thompson - Landscape Photography together with San Jose Spain and our very good friend Jesus Contreras offer a unique opportunity to experience the beauty and charm of the Parque Natural de Cabo de Gata with this all inclusive, multi-activity experience.
Most visitors flock to the Cabo de Gata during the summer months and whilst there is much to see and do, there is an unequaled beauty at other times of the year which we are looking to promote. This itinerary is especially scheduled to show you the breath-taking colours, scenery and nature of Parque Natural de Cabo de Gata in spring, autumn and winter when together with the natural light, they are at their best. So come and join us on an all inclusive week-long break in this little piece of heaven and enjoy the great weather without the crowds.
Combining photography with outstanding wildlife / geography field trips, you will not only get to photograph this area of outstanding natural beauty but will learn much about the history and ecology of the area. This is a wonderful experience and is especially suitable for couples with an interest in the natural world.
What does this experience comprise?
This is a fantastic value all inclusive experience, a typical* itinerary would be:

Day one (Saturday):
- airport transfer from Almería to San José
- settle into accommodation
- a short guided tour around San José
- lunch followed by free time
- "tapas crawl" in the evening

Day two:
- tour of local beaches, including basic camera techniques and "hands on" tuition
- lunch (optional) followed by free time

Day three:
- free time followed by optional lunch
- wildlife / geography field trip around Cabo de Gata, including Las Salinas

Day four:
- free time with optional extras (see below)

Day five:
- photography experience around Rodalquilar and Isleta del Moro (optional lunch)
- free time

Day six:
- wildlife / geography field trip around Desierto de Tabernas

Day seven:
- free time with optional extras (see below)

Day eight (Saturday):
- transfer to Almería airport
In addition to the above, where a full-moon falls within the week, you will be offered a moonlight photography excursion FREE of charge!
The price of this experience, based on the above itinerary is as follows:
- Couples: €1175 (€587.50 per person).
- Groups of four: €1830 (€457.50 per person).
- Extra over for collecting / returning from / to Malaga, Murcia or Alicante Airports: €225 (Sum)

The above itinerary and associated prices are based on the provision of self-catering accommodation. For an additional cost, we can provide hotel accommodation if required. Please let us know when making your enquiry / booking if you require this service.
